ANU email

It is expected that you will use your ANU email address whenever you need to email your lecturers, tutors, or other ANU staff members. Avoid using your personal email accounts to email ANU staff, as it is better to keep all your ANU correspondence in your official ANU email account. You can access your email or on your device. Students have a responsibility to check their ANU email regularly for important communications.

Many courses use Zoom to provide tutorials, office hours, seminars and lectures. on your computer can be found in the Service Desk Knowledge Base. Some courses may use other video conferencing tools, such as Microsoft Teams. The seeks to replicate the Windows Information Commons environment, providing it to students off campus. Once logged in, students can access usually available on the ANU IC computers in the Information Commons labs, bringing the Information Commons environment to the students using their own equipment, in a location of their choice, without having to download all the applications on to their own computers. The Virtual Information Commons is available is from 6:00am to 12:00am, 7 days a week.
